I’m sure many faithful readers of this blog are aware that Panavision has made a handful of Panavision mount to EOS body adapters, so their clients can put their lenses on the Canon 5Dmk2/7D and the forthcoming 1Dmk4. Well in an interesting turn of events I have it on very good authority that all those mounts are “no longer available for rental”.

The why is a bit murky, but I’d put money on PV modifying and releasing there own “rental only” 1Dmk4 as the likely reason.
